  Seriously paradise. Situated in a quiet mountain town at the end of the way, the hotel overlooks a rock bottom river tucked between two mountains. I suggest getting a room with a balcony. The hotel restaurant served delicious local cuisine, and the breakfast (free) was absolutely wonderful. Estany Blaus also has a large common room with games if the weather doesn't cooperate. Can't wait to come back.

  Placed at the entrance to Tavascan on the bank of the river. Our room was clean and spaciose. Ask for a room facing the river, although ours had a good mountain view. My son enjoyed the pool and my wife, the jaccuzi. The food is simple local dishes and very well prepered. The owner was very help full and went out of his way to help us plan our stay in the area. All in all, it is well worth the drive up the mountains.

  Good people. They also own the place across the street. Definitely would recommend Tavascan. If you are like me and looking for a hiking map of the area wait until you get there. Just be aware that there is massive elevation per km hiked. Like 4 km distance to a peak will have 4,000 ft elevation...
